Phone Call

I had my first telephone conversation with Tucker last night.  I was on my way home from Lafayette and was checking in with TJ.  But when the line connected it was Tucker and it went a little something like this:

Tuck: Hi'ya Mama
Me: Why hello Tuck man.  How are you?
Tuck: OK.
Me: What have you been doing?
Tuck: FOOTBALL!!!!
Me:  Oh, you and daddy are playing football?
Tuck: Yup
Me: Are you having fun?
Tuck: Yup.  Daddy Cook.
Me:  You and Daddy are cooking dinner?
Tuck: Yup.  FOOTBALL!
Me: You have to get back to your football game?
Tuck: Yup.  Bye Bye.

It still makes me smile to think of his sweet little voice on the other end of the phone.
