Easter

Easter was quite the hit this year.  We went to Deb's (Dad's girlfriend and Tuck's "Gamma Deb") for dinner and Easter egg hunt.  She has 9 additional grandkids, 6 of which were there.  Tuck loves hanging out with his cousins and though he is the littlest one (besides Kora) he loves keeping up with all of them.  Once Papaw and the Dad's finished hiding the eggs the kids were released out of the kitchen and they were OFF.  Deb has an old cemetary behind her house and some of the eggs were hidden there for the bigger kids.  But alas, once they all started running there was no stopping any of them until they hit the grave stones.  We had to herd the little ones back into the yard.

Here he is concentrating really hard.
He was really good about finding the eggs.  We didn't have to guide him to many, he had an eye for them.  He found one with hearts on it and decided he didn't want that one though.  He put it in the spot where he found his next one and WOULD NOT put that one egg in his bucket.  Later he found another one with hearts and it went straight into the bucket.  It's hard telling what he determined was wrong with that one.
And here is Kora in her pretty dress.  It had a big bow on the front which she proceeded to slobber on and chew.
After the egg hunting the dads and kids started a game of baseball while the mom's sat on the proch and visited.  The weather was just gorgeous and it was so nice to be outside all afternoon.  The baseball game was a hoot.  The dad's were pretty serious about their fielding and pulled a few double plays.  This was not too difficult considering most of the runners were 6 and under.  They had paper plates for bases.  Tuck hit the ball (pitched mind you, not on a tee) but insisted upon running to center field/cemetary.  He just loved the running.
