Phone Call

I had my first telephone conversation with Tucker last night.  I was on my way home from Lafayette and was checking in with TJ.  But when the line connected it was Tucker and it went a little something like this:

Tuck: Hi'ya Mama
Me: Why hello Tuck man.  How are you?
Tuck: OK.
Me: What have you been doing?
Tuck: FOOTBALL!!!!
Me:  Oh, you and daddy are playing football?
Tuck: Yup
Me: Are you having fun?
Tuck: Yup.  Daddy Cook.
Me:  You and Daddy are cooking dinner?
Tuck: Yup.  FOOTBALL!
Me: You have to get back to your football game?
Tuck: Yup.  Bye Bye.

It still makes me smile to think of his sweet little voice on the other end of the phone.

GRRRRR!!!

Go Bears.

This is Kora's NFL outfit.  It was a gift from Uncle John and Aunt Tammy.  We had to get her into it before she outgrew it.  Doesn't she just look like she is growling her support?
And there are even matching socks.  Did I mention yet that I hate baby socks.  They never stay on and are so apt to be lost.

Kora Smiles

Kora is getting so big.  She is full of giggles and smiles these days and is just so much fun.   I regret that I only have 2 more weeks with her before I have to go back to work.  I think I will snuggle her even more while I can.
And here is one of those famous smiles

What a Hat

Tucker has a real flare for hats.  Here he is wearing his cowboy hat and his pin stripe hat and one of my hair bands.  It's all about the layers right?
And here he has been riding his horse but it has bucked him off.
What a silly boy.  He makes us laugh so often.

CRAFT TIME

Tucker stayed home due to bad weather and we needed a distraction so I raided my stash of craft supplies and we made a box for the Valentines he would be receiving at his party.  He was VERY into the gluing and the stickers.  I am so proud of my little artist.

PLAYING IN THE SNOW

This weekend we had a good snowstorm with at least 5 inches of snow.  It started out the good snowman kind of snow but by the time we went out the wind had dried it out.  We found some snow that was melting on his slide that was wet enough to make this little snowman.  Tuck was so proud of it.  And don't you just love the hairy scarf we put on it.  It is a sorry little snowman but it is Tuck's first one and I will treasure it always.
I love this picture, even with the sasquatch scarf.  We had such a ball.

REAL PANTS

Hello old friends. This is the first day of our reunion.   It has been so long since we have been together.  I have missed you.  I promise never to leave you for those terrible maternity pants again.
