Willy Worm Research

Why did the willy worm cross the road?  I don’t know but there were so many of them on the move on the way home tonight. They were all cinnamon brown.  I think that means a mild winter; the more black signifies a harsh winter.  And 85% of them were heading west and only 15% of them were heading east.  I told you this was research based. Do you call them willy worms too?  I know wooly worm makes more sense but we always called them by name.
