Dear Manitou

Dear Kora.  Today I was driving thru Lafayette and had a flashback to the day Daddy and I saw your first ultrasound.  The technician was able to tell us that you were going to be a girl.  It was tough news for Daddy, afterward we had to go to dinner and he had a beer.  We had not been able to come up with ANY girl names.  Neither one of us could come up with a single one we liked (and later ended up having to resort to the name books from the library where once we came across Kora there was no more discussion) At any rate, on this day, and on our way to dinner Daddy decided that the next street sign would determine your name.  Luckily we were not heading east or it would have been 10th Street.  Instead the next street was Manitou.  Aren't you glad we resorted to the name books?
