Future Gold Prospector

Today we went to Indianapolis for the GPAA Expo.  They had all sorts of booths selling anything gold related from jewelry to dredges and pans, even ziploc containers of material guaranteed to have gold in it for the bargain price of $20. TJ has invested in all of this in the past (you may remember that he was waiting to find enough to make my ring before proposing and I decided I didn’t want to wait that long) and he is hoping to get back to it again now that Tuck is getting older.

So here is our little prospector in training.  First you gather up your material from the bottom of the “creek”.

Then you dunk it some more.DSC01279

And finally you “pour” off the lighter material and see what treasure you have found.DSC01281

I think he will be a natural.
